The series of talks were launched 2024 and are going to continue at this year’s AXPONA: Industry experts give insights into their work.
This years series of talks will feature on the six major problems with music reproduction, that have been identified by TheAbsoluteSound Magazine:
“… six major (above threshold) problems with music reproduction that stand in the way of believability. These are:
- The problem of recording standards
- The problem of visual images
- The problem of spatial imaging
- The problem of bass in real rooms
- The problem of dynamics
- The problem of a-musical digital distortions”
We will explain and demonstrate how these six problems are mitigated with appropriate measures, minimizing spatial, timbral, timing and phase distortions in the recording-storing-replay chain
LINKWITZ parlor talks will be made available successively on our YouTube Channel. Subscribe and stay tuned.
