The series of talks were launched 2024 and are going to continue at this year’s AXPONA: Industry experts give insights into their work.

This years series of talks will feature on the six major problems with music reproduction, that have been identified by TheAbsoluteSound Magazine:

“… six major (above threshold) problems with music reproduction that stand in the way of believability. These are:

  1. The problem of recording standards
  2. The problem of visual images
  3. The problem of spatial imaging
  4. The problem of bass in real rooms
  5. The problem of dynamics
  6. The problem of a-musical digital distortions”

We will explain and demonstrate how these six problems are mitigated with appropriate measures, minimizing spatial, timbral, timing and phase distortions in the recording-storing-replay chain

LINKWITZ parlor talks will be made available successively on our YouTube Channel. Subscribe and stay tuned.
