Stenheim Premieries NEW Alumine Two.Five Loudspeaker | Michael Fremer Reports…

November 28th 2023 — Stenheim, the Switzerland-based speaker company that utilizes aluminum cabinets and high-efficiency drivers to bring out the natural beauty and elegance of the finest recordings, will present its new Alumine Two.Five, a passive two-way, floor-standing speaker at a select press event at the legendary Power Station recording studio in New York City on Thursday November 30th.

The all-new Alumine Two.Five ($23,500/pair) is the exciting latest addition to the Alumine range. The iconic Alumine Two launched in 2010 and changed speaker design, redefining what was possible from a bookshelf speaker. Now the Alumine Two.Five takes the purity and simplicity that created the success of the Alumine Two, but adds double bass drivers to ensure room-filling sound in larger spaces. The result is enthralling music with typical Stenheim clarity, detail and liveliness.

“The Alumine Two.Five is an important introduction for us because it builds on the concepts behind our very first speaker, the Alumine Two, and applies it to a floor-standing product giving greater extension in the low frequencies,” said Jean-Pascal Panchard, CEO-Owner, Stenheim Suisse SA. “The Alumine Two.Five takes everything that made the Alumine Two such an iconic, groundbreaking speaker and delivers it in a room-filling package.”

Its classically elegant, slim cabinet makes it a beautiful addition to any listening space or living room, whilst its high efficiency makes it suitable for a huge range of music systems.

The Alumine Two.Five will go on general sale from December 1st.
