Confidence 20A is a groundbreaking active version of our flagship Confidence 20 passive stand-mount loudspeaker. It builds on the legacy set by Focus XD, XEO, and Dynaudio Professional active loudspeakers – and makes a statement about the extraordinary potential in modern active loudspeaker systems. All the electronics – amplification and sophisticated DSP hardware – are built into the stand, so all that’s needed is an external source with a volume control. Contour 20 Black Edition
Our R&D team have taken the solid, award-winning foundation that is the Contour 20i and improved every single internal part. The tweeter and mid-bass driver have been upgraded to Confidence-level. The crossover has been simplified and upgraded with even better components, and the bass reflex port has had a major overhaul to improve performance as well. We’ve decided to celebrate this all-business loudspeaker in a sleek, stealthy, and purposeful premium black finish that includes all its metal hardware and fasteners. The listening experience is on another level for its price, and it is, quite simply, the best version of Contour 20 ever. We will present the new models with the help of our longtime St. Louis Dealer, Music For Pleasure, using a source from Moon (North 891Network Player/Preamp) with our active Confidence 20A, and Atoll sources (ST300 Signature Streamer/DAC, NEW CD400 EvolutionCD player) partnered with the NEW Atoll flagship integrated amplifier (IN400 Evolution) on our Contour 20 Black Edition system.
